First time buyers flock to Cedar Glen

A number of buyers have already decided Ellendale's Cedar Glen precinct is the perfect place, with lots starting from just $266,000 and home and land packages starting from under $500,000.

Twin brothers Luke and Sean Healy say Cedar Glen is an affordable opportunity for them to get in to the market in the area they grew up in.

"We've spent most of our lives in Upper Kedron and have lots of friends and family here, so we're really glad we have found an affordable way to enter the market and stay in our neighbourhood," he said.

"We wanted to build so we could design our home to suit our lifestyle. We are building with Bold Living and have customised a design to include two master bedrooms and two living areas, so we each have our own space.

"Building new also means we are able to take advantage of government incentives which make buying a home even more affordable.

"We're really excited about having our own home. My brother and I have been inseparable since we were little kids, so buying a home together feels like a good way to start the next chapter of our lives."
